Hi Ada! Sorry but my work email went down over the weekend so I didn't receive your communication. Let's use this page for communication back and forth. Looks like we will meet up Tuesday around 6. Meeting at 6:30 Dominican Joe's - We agree to focus our efforts on different sections. I will focus on benefits to teachers and administrators. We will write draft by Thursday.
As per our conversation - I will concentrate on the befefits to students and school librarians. Although we are focusing on that particular group for the draft portion of the assignment we will collaborate on the research and prewriting for all groups.
Sabrina, in our textbook, CS4TRC, p.7 talks about research studies showing benefits of lowering student to teacher ratio/ reducing class size which is a benefit for students. Also, just a reminder that paper is due, Friday, Feb. 8.

Thanks for the reminder about the due date., It's just past 11pm and I just got it from the day. I had to go visit my sis-in-law in the hospital. I will work a lot tomorrow. The outline is looking good. I will add to it the research I found. Dr. M answered my question about highlighting. She does want us to highlight on the final paper. Give me a call tomorrow if you need to. If I'm in a session I will call you back when I get out. **Also, I think we should move the Connections to Readings Page to the Pre-writing matrix. I think she wants that all on the matrix, because part of what we turn in is the link to our pre-writing matrix. Just seperate your findings into the right catetory. You can add rows as needed.
Hi Sabrina, I agree that it is nice to be able to meet. I just wish we had this weekend to complete the work. We've both been so busy with other things. But I will be working all afternoon and evening. I will move my comments on readings to matrix.

Hi Ada! I believe the reflections she mentions in the rubric refer to throughout your paper, not just in one portion of the paper. When we are done we can go back and highlight the portions that were thoughts of ours.
Ada, I was wondering something. I was just thinking this assignmnet was to prove the positives in teacher collaboration. Should we be looking at negatives as well. Or just stick with the positives?
Ada, I'm just letting you know that I'm typing my paragraphs in word then will load on the final draft paper. I will be sure to use our Matrix pre-writing information from both of us to incorporate in the student and librarian benefits section. It is easier for me to put all the information there to refer back to since I can't print stuff right now. I will not go to bed tonight until most of the paper is complete. Tomorrow I can do a final read threw and proof. I will keep loading what I have throughout the night. If you want I will be responsible for uploading the word document since I won't be working tomorrow, i just have conference til noon, so I can work on it tomorrow too if needed for final revisions. You can do the part of submitting the rubric with our url to our link to the Category Matrix. That can be submitted anytime really, Dr. M will see won't see our final update until after the due date and time. Let me know if that's ok with you. Ada, you have a quote that you referenced on the matrix to "Judy". I'm using that in a quote in the student benefits area. Do you remember exactly where you got this from? It was one of the testimonials
Ada, I copied what we have so far to word and double spaced it with 12pt font. We have just about 4 full pages so far. So we stil need about a page to go. I still can probably add another paragraph to the student benefits and maybe a sentence or two to the librarian benefits. It is almost 2am and I'm a bit tired so I will work on it tomorrow after lunch. I don't really think we will need to meet tomorrow. We can just work on it seperately and call if needed.
